The terms for using NoSpike. By creating an account you agree to them.

The service

NoSpike (nospike.gg, "NoSpike", "we") is run from Denmark; who runs it, and where, is in the imprint. The NoSpike app for Windows measures your connection to supported games' servers and, with NoSpike Pro, can route those games' traffic through our relays when that route is better. How we handle your data is described in our privacy policy.

No promise of a better connection

Whether a relay helps depends on your internet provider, your location and the game's servers. The app measures first and tells you when your direct route is fastest. We don't promise any particular ping, and relays or games can be unavailable at times, for example during maintenance. Games we call "beta" are still being mapped: NoSpike may not carry all of their traffic yet.

NoSpike Pro subscription

NoSpike Pro costs $5.99 a month, or $57.50 when you pay annually, in US dollars, VAT included. You subscribe on this website or in the app. You pay at the start of each month or year, and the subscription renews for the same period until you cancel it. The backup line is an optional add-on to Pro with its own monthly price, shown where you buy it.

Payments are taken by Stripe as the merchant of record (Stripe Managed Payments): the checkout and your receipts show the purchase as "Sold through Link", by Sold through Link, LLC, a Stripe company, and its checkout shows its own payment terms. Refunds are paid back through Stripe, whether we make them or Link's support does (support.link.com). We never see your card details.

You can cancel any time on your account page or in the app (Settings, then Account). Pro then runs to the end of the month or year you've paid for, and nothing more is charged. We don't refund part of a period, except where the law requires it.

Right of withdrawal: if you're a consumer in the EU, you can withdraw within 14 days of subscribing. To do so, email support@nospike.gg within those 14 days and say that you withdraw (from the address your account uses, so we can find it), or ask Link's support. Pro ends when you withdraw. Pro starts as soon as you've paid: by ticking the box before checkout, you confirm you've read these terms and ask for exactly that, so you get back what you paid minus the share for the days you had Pro. If you subscribed without ticking it, you get back everything you paid. Either way the refund goes back through Stripe to the way you paid, within 14 days of your message. The same holds for the backup line.

If the price changes, we'll tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before then. Deleting your account cancels the subscription straight away.

Your account

You must be at least 13 to use NoSpike. Use an email address you can receive mail at, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You're responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete it at any time on your account page or in the app.

Fair use of the relays

Relays are for playing supported games. Don't use NoSpike to attack, scan or overload other systems, send spam, get around another service's rules or bans, or break the law, and don't try to get into our systems or other players' accounts. We can suspend or close accounts that do, and we'll tell you why unless the law or an investigation stops us.

Games and their rules

NoSpike only routes network traffic and changes Windows' and your screen's settings around a game; it never changes game files or game memory, and nothing is injected into a game. Each game has its own terms, and you're responsible for following them. Game names and logos belong to their owners, and NoSpike isn't affiliated with any game publisher.

The app

You may install and use the NoSpike app on your own PCs. Don't sell or resell it, reverse-engineer it to build a competing service, or remove its notices. The app includes MsQuic and Wintun, which are used under their own licences (see the licenses folder where the app is installed).

Liability

NoSpike is provided as it is and as available. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, such as a lost match, rank, prize or account. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be limited by agreement, or our liability for harm we cause deliberately or through gross negligence.

Changes and ending

We may change these terms; if a change matters, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it applies, and you can stop using NoSpike if you don't agree. You can stop at any time. We can end the service with reasonable notice. These terms are governed by Danish law. If you live in another EU country, you also keep the protection of that country's consumer law, and you can bring a claim in its courts.
